Large robberfly in sand prairie - Proctacanthus milbertii - female

Large robberfly in sand prairie - Proctacanthus milbertii - Female
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
August 14, 2016
Size: large
Photographed in tall grass on a sand prairie at the edge of a pocket marsh. I'm new to trying to understand these interesting flies, but for what little it's worth, it looks a lot like Proctacanthus duryi to me -- though the only photo of that species on BG is from much farther south, it seems northern Indiana is at least possibly within that species' range. I checked female [see side view], please advise if that's not correct.
