Diceroprocta olympusa
33 mm is slightly more than an inch (=2.54 cm, or 25.4 mm!)
T. figuratus is approx. 2 inches + in overall length!

This specimen is too small to be T. figuratus.
here
is a side-by-side comparison of T. auletes, T. resonans and T. figuratus. T. auletes is the largest North American cicada so compare it to T. figuratus in the image.

T. figurata
Looks similar to one of mine that was identified as T. figurata just a few miles from yours in Lake County.

Thanks for taking the time to tentatively ID this for me. It does look very similar. The fact that we live relatively close suggests it probably is the same spceies. Are you a collector or photographer or both? I see your profile says you aren't a bug person, but you've added some great photos to the guide. Good job.
