Strangalia sexnotata Haldeman 1847
Size
8-13 mm(1)
Identification
Less elongated than other members of genus with strong elytral spots. Elytral pubescence "bristly". One form, noted from south-central states, has first few antennomeres black and pale legs. Coastal form from Virginia, etc. has mostly dark legs and antennae(2).
