Double-banded Scoliid wasp - Scolia bicincta - Female

This fairly large Blue-black wasp(?) was very busy flitting about on the ground at the base of a tree and around some rocks. It flashed iridescent blue wings and two crème colored stripes on its abdomen. A couple more pictures show various attributes not shown on any one picture.
