Post Burn Datana Caterpillar 2 -
Datana major
Woodson, Pulaski County, Arkansas, USA
August 28, 2016
Now the post datana caterpillars appear more like azalea caterpillars. So now the question is, do I have azalea caterpillars or post burn datana.

The first two photos are the same caterpillars. The batch of small caterpillars is the next group of caterpillars that is on the bush. As of today they have not changed, except to grow larger. Still red and stripped. Hopefully with this next batch I will be able to catch some of them in both stages.
