Size: 5-8mm ap.
There were at least 50 of these on one small Ragweed plant. Help with ID please.

I believe these are Flea Beet
I believe these are Flea Beetles (Alticini). They resemble other images in the genus Systena, though I'm not an expert so I would wait for confirmation.

Systena confirmed!
the following species have been reported from Ontario: Systena blanda, S. corni, S. frontalis (black with red head), S. hudsonias and S. marginalis. S. blanda being the commonest.
