Looks like Tyta luctuosa (9063.1) - Tyta luctuosa
Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
August 28, 2016
Size: 11mm x 13mm
I noticed that there were no resting images of this species on BugGuide. I found this attracted to light. It stayed around for over a day, and moved around very little. At night, it looked like black and white. During the day, the dark color turned out to be dark brown.

A noticeably small noctuid. Size: 11mm wingspan, 13mm body length (height), 13mm wing length
