Grasshopper - Prumnacris rainierensis - Female
Mount Rainier, Pierce County, Washington, USA
August 25, 2016
The bugguide info page says "Said to be associated with Lupinus (as food?)." This one was definitely eating Broadleaf Lupine, Lupinus latifolius. I have video and observed it eating half the leaf.

Going by the info on the bugguide page, I suppose this is the Cascade Timberline Grasshopper Prumnacris rainierensis.
They were abundant on the trail and sunning on rocks and wood near the trail for much of the Skyline Trail and the Golden Gate Trail uphill from the Paradise Visitor's Center.

Not all of my images show the reduced wing, but most do.

More photos and a short video on Olympic Natural History.
