Size: 13.3 mm bl
A second bee emerged 6 days after the first. This one was a little smaller (13.3 vs. 15.0 mm). Bee No. 2, like Bee No. 1, was out of the soil and walking by noon and was not yet ready to fly. It flew when released onto vegetation, midafternoon.
