First BG entry!?
I feel like I hit a home run and I don't even play baseball! Thank you Belov!

ha!
i barely know what baseball is, but i tell you, you hit whatever was there to hit alright, man...

thanks for all your contributions to the guide!

Thanks for lending your expertise,
time, and attention to the guide. Now that I moved to southeastern AZ, I know there will be plenty more interesting bugs to find.

Trichochrous?
This is a female (abdominal ventrites reddish) of Trichochrous convergens (LeConte). It is fairly common in the Fall in the southwestern deserts/grasslands of Arizona, New Mexico and Baja California, Mexico.

Thank you Adriean!
If your ID is accepted by BG Editors, this entry would result in a new page because currently Trichochrous is identified on BugGuide to genus level only. Thanks!

Moved for expert review to Dasytinae
Moved from Beetles.

Thank you Blaine!
