saw several of these. I was not able to come up with any IDs. It was small, perhaps an inch long.

short-winged adult female in the melanoplinae
I think something along the lines of Phaedrotettix/Phaulotettix, but given the location, this might be something weird not in the guide yet. I'm not familiar with these guys, so hopefully David Ferguson will check this one out
