Green Caterpillar - Heterocampa astarte

Green Caterpillar - Heterocampa astarte
Spanish Fort, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA
September 2, 2016
Size: 3-4 Inches

The new fascicle implies this should be
astartoides in Alabama, but it fits the decription of astarte much better so we suggest leaving it here.

It may not have one!
You get to call it what you like :)

Heterocampa astarte
John & Jane Balaban, what would be the "common name" for this? I've searched the internet and haven't come up with one. Thanks...
