That is as close of a match as I have seen. Leg color, stripes across the eyes, and yellow and black pattern. That's gotta be it.

Female - Soldier Fly
This looks like a female Hoplitimyia constans. (widespread eastern range?) Let's see what the experts say.

Thanks for your response. Other soldier flies I have seen in this area are black and green. Always finding something that is new to me.
