Calvert's Eagle Bluff Ranch, 19 mi N Hondo on FM 462, Medina County, Texas, USA
April 23, 2016
Found just as I was leaving Entoblitz_2016, which accounts for the morning dew on the insect. I've seen these before, always feeding on Cooperia sp., so I kept it to discover its name. It pupated just a couple of days later and eventually eclosed. I didn't check it for quite awhile but the dead moth was easily identifiable.
