Green Immigrant Leaf Weevil - Polydrusus formosus

Green Immigrant Leaf Weevil - Polydrusus formosus
Thornhill, Ontario, Canada
July 11, 2007
I was drawn to this not because I found a weevil, but because I found a large white spider. The spider went off and hid when it saw me, revealing what it had been hovering over. This weevil certainly was a meal shortly after I left. The spider has tied it down to the branch with webbing. I'm not sure if this is a Green Immigrant Leaf Weevil or not. It was very small.
