Moved
Moved from Tachopteryx, since there is only one species in the genus. Good find--one I always mean to search for more--I've seen it but once.

Oops
I thought I was putting in under Gray Petaltail...don't know how that happened. Thanks for moving it for me!

Did they
Move the western Petaltail species to another genus?

Tanypteryx hageni
Tanypteryx hageni is the only other North American Petaltail, I thought, and this agrees with the North American Odonata checklist:
Petaluridae - Petaltails
Tachopteryx thoreyi (Hagen in Selys, 1858) - Gray Petaltail
Tanypteryx hageni (Selys, 1879) - Black Petaltail
That's all I know, or perhaps, more than I know!
