Pronotal Range Grasshopper - Cratypedes neglectus

Pronotal Range Grasshopper - Cratypedes neglectus
Badger Basin State Wildlife Area (39.020879 -105.834838 E8910’), Park County, Colorado, USA
September 7, 2016
I’m pretty sure this is a Pronotal Range Grasshopper (Cratypedes neglectus). Inside face of rear femur orange, pale converging dorsal stripes of forewing, and lateral lobe of pronotum wider below than above (pinched in center).

This is a pretty cool site dominated by Fringed Sagebrush (Artemisia frigida) and Viscid Rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus). Grass cover in this several acre site probably less than 15-percent. The only other adult grasshopper I saw here was what I think was a Say’s.
