Geometrid - maybe Eusarca galbanaria? - Eusarca galbanaria
Salero Ranch, 4300 ft elev, 8 mi E of Tubac, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
September 8, 2016
Size: 3 cm wingspan
I hunted around in geometrid pages on BG and finally landed on Eusarca plates on MPG. The wing shape and overall patterns look like MPG images of E. galbanaria, but I don't know if I'm close or not. Or if Eusarca can be safely identified from photos.

Hi Sue,

I think you are right, but no expert has ever placed one to this species and I am NOT an expert.

Now I remember looking at this image last year, and it does appear to match mine. Oh well, I will go with Eusarca for now. Thanks!
