Eacles imperialis - male

Eacles imperialis - Male
Burlington Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
August 20, 2006
Size: 7.5 inches across
Also known as Imperial Moth--she came to rest on my garage wall last summer and got me started as an amature entemologist. This particular photo was on "What's that Bug" website as "bug of the month" last year. I used Bug Guide to ID her so thought I'd share her with you all.-Nina
