Neoconocephalus retusus - male

Neoconocephalus retusus - Male
Clymer, Alder Bottom Wildlife Management Area, Chautauqua County, New York, USA
September 4, 2016
Found calling from tall grass at the edge of a cornfield. Only one heard anywhere in the area, although N. ensiger was abundant. I believe this represents a northward range expansion along Lake Erie from Ohio.
