Bagisara oula
The angle of the postmedial line is less than 90 degrees.
Thanks

Not less than 90 degrees?
It is my understanding that the PM line is the 3rd of the three lines, not the middle one (= median line). Here that angle is about 90 degrees. As well, the rounded curve of the AM line here also matches
buxea
in Ferguson's 1997 key to these species.

Line clarification
I think your understanding is incorrect in terms of Ferguson's key. In his
description
of
praecelsa
, Ferguson appears to refer to the middle (2nd) line as the postmedial line and the outer (3rd) line as the subterminal line.
But again, the shape of the am. and pm. lines does not seem to be a good feature for identification. Ferguson's key qualifies by employing the words "often" and "usually". I think we should disregard the angle/shape of the bends for the "am." and "pm." lines.
Based on wing color and on the jagged appearance of the outer line in the above image, I think
buxea
is a better fit but I don't know if that is useful either.

Ferguson's key
Thanks, Steve. I'll double-check that reference. I appreciate your input on this difficult set of species.

Not Sure
I checked BOLD and there is little correlation with respect to the line angles but I did notice that lanes are smoother, less jagged, for
oula
. Photos

are the only ones that look good by that standard.

Many thanks Maury! I am going to have to check all of my photos!!! A new species possibility for me.
