Female spider. Argyrodes Elevatus? - Argyrodes - female

Female spider. Argyrodes Elevatus? - Argyrodes - Female
Dallas County, Texas, USA
September 15, 2016
Female orb weaver(?). She is teardrop shaped with brown and silvery markings. She was found in her web (along with the other smaller spider whom I will assume is a male). The web was built directly behind the web of an Argiope Aurantia.

Female - Dewdrop Spider
This must be something very close to a female Argyrodes elevatus. (southern range) You may be correct about the male, but please wait for an expert opinion.

Yes, this is most definitely
Yes, this is most definitely an Argyrodes. I'm thinking Argyrodes Elevatus. There's a picture of that species in the web of a golden silk orbweaver on bugguide. My spider had built its web directly behind the web of an Argiope Aurantia. Somebody mentioned (on the other picture) that they'd read an article which said that Argyrodes eat the webs of other spiders, and that they're also klepto-parasites (steal prey). What Curious behaviors!!
