I'm going to have to mull this one over.
Appear to be a Conozoa, but more stocky than usual for that genus. Could be a Trimerotropis.

Moved from Grasshoppers.

Left field...
As a long shot possibility, I was wondering about Conozoa hyalina? There's a female posted on http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/4113526 from the same area that might be a possible mate?

I think that's probably what he is
Conozoa hyalina, but I haven't seen one in person except on a pin some time ago, and I keep forgetting to verify it against pubished descriptions. I can't think what else it could be though.

However, the female at I Naturalist looks like Trimerotropis pseudofasciata.
