Caterpillar - Euchaetes

Caterpillar - Euchaetes
Adams County, Colorado, USA
September 16, 2016
Size: 23mm
Consuming showy milkweed (Asclepias speciosa).

Wonder if Pygoctenucha terminalis
gets that far north?? Our only other thought would be an earlier instar E. egle. We think people have begun finding egle in the Colorado Springs / Denver area. That would be our best suggestion at present. Hopefully we will hear more from the Colorado contingent.

thank you
Thank you! I might cross reference with iNaturalist to see if any more clarity can be found.
