White-footed Wasp - Trypoxylon clavatum

White-footed Wasp - Trypoxylon clavatum
Harris County, Texas, USA
July 2, 2011
The Trypoxylon, on the top side of the leaf is about the same size as the wasp on the underside of the leaf. Although they are on the same leaf, the lower wasp may be a little bit closer to the camera, thus making it look bigger. In other words, the Trypoxylon should be as long or longer than the lower wasp. That lower wasp is probably Euodynerus megaera.
