Synemosyna formica? - Synemosyna formica

I thought the behvior of this ant was strange; it always stayed on the same leaf, instead of constantly wandering around the entire plant. Upon closer look, this ant had four legs and eyes like a jumping spider. Is this Synemosyna formica? Thank you bug guide!
