Very small dragonfly - Ischnura hastata

Very small dragonfly - Ischnura hastata
Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, USA
July 22, 2007
Size: 1.25 inch
This fellow is so small that I could hardly see it flying by, and when I did see it, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. It appeared to be a small floating stick with spots. It's resting on a blade of Bermuda grass!
