Size: Approx. 2 inches
I found this little guy lying on his back in the parking lot at work. Our warehouse is right by some woods, so I see all kinds of bugs here every day. I'm sure he's nearing the end of his life cycle, but I couldn't help but pick him up and put him somewhere safe ( I say "him" but it could be female). I found him around 3:00 P.M. I have never seen a cicada of this color, so I did some research and I'm pretty sure that it is a Neotibicen Resonans, or Southern Resonant Cicada. If I am wrong, please feel free to correct me.
