It seems like this is evidently in the Subfamily Lamiinae - Flat-Faced Longhorns, but I can't even narrow it down to a genus. I would appreciate help on this one.

I believe...
...this is Parelaphidion aspersum.

Anelaphus parallelus

 
Pronotum has glabrous ridge
Hard to see in the photo but i think there is a midline glabrous ridge on the pronotum. That would confirm Parelaphidion over Anelaphus.

I added a tighter crop with some color adjustments to bring out the detail in the pronotum.

That makes it very clear. I would say definitely P. aspersum (however I have to admit there might be additional possibilities in TX that I am unaware of).
