Dipalta sp.
The wing vein pattern (near the apex) is unique to this genus. This might be
Dipalta serpentina
, which is the more widespread species, but I'm not sure. Expert help is needed here.

Egads! I looked at its congener, the Huron Shore Fly, decided that my fly wasn't that and somehow utterly missed D. serpentina. Not the first time I've flown past the correct species. Thanks for the reference and the guidance.
