Unknown wasps? - Scolia nobilitata - Female
North Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, USA
September 1, 2016
Size: 1 inch
This wasp has been hard for me to identify- it may be common but I've been unable to ID it via web search. It's about an inch long and was cutting off the white petals from the small flowers it was visiting which I found unusual.

I also cannot ID this wasp of which I shot 4K video of- might someone be able to ID it? http://www.stevenunez.com/hosted/wasp006720p.mov
