small black Beetle with white markings - Acmaeodera ornata

small black Beetle with white markings - Acmaeodera ornata
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA

I believe this is a clover flower, so the beetle is pretty small.

Lynette, Like Patrick Coin's
Lynette,
Like Patrick Coin's photo, I would say this is the Acmaeodera ornata.

Thank you,
I've moved it there.

Not A. pulchella
You can rule out A. pulchella (no yellow spot on lateral margin of pronotum). There are three other spp. it could be in NC;
Acmaeodera ornata, Acmaeodera texana, or Acmaeodera tubulus. I'm guessing ornata if the black color is faithful.
