I found this crawling on the concrete walkway towards some plants. I helped it by placing it on a plant. I went to get the camera and when I got back, it had attached itself to the leaf of a palm. a couple of hours later, I went to check, it wasn't there anymore.

Bagworm was my first thought, but then I had a second look and wondered if it might not be a Caddisfly larva. Did you find it near water?
