Abstract
Data are provided under 34 species in the genus Chrysobothris Eschscholtz; about one-third of these are treated in detail. The following new synonymy is proposed: Chrysobothris beeri Barr = C. caurina Horn; C. blanchardi Horn = C. rotundicollis Gory and Laporte; C. burkei Chamberlin = C.

Hansen, J.A., J.K. Moulton, W.E. Klingeman, J.B. Oliver, M.T. Windham , R.N. Trigiano, M.E. Reding. 2015. Molecular systematics of the Chrysobothris femorata species group (Coleoptera: Buprestidae). Annals of the Entomological Society of America 108(5): 950-963.

Abstract (part):

The Chrysobothris femorata (Olivier) species group has expanded to 12 recognized species. Many of these species are sympatric, share larval host plants, and are difficult to reliably separate morphologically.
