Is this a gray hairstreak? - Strymon melinus - Female
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA
May 4, 2016
I have never photographed a hairstreak with wings open before. Is this a gray hairstreak? female? The other kind of hairstreak I've found at this lake was a soapberry. It flew so I didn't get a closed wing shot. Photo taken along the walking path above the lower spillway of White Rock Lake, late morning of May 4, 2016.

Yes, Gray Hairstreak female
