The larva seemed way too big,
but the oval cut-out is the same size and shape as the others. I'm going to assume it's the same until an adult emerges.

This larva does resemble the gracillariine bayberry miner. It makes a linear mine that turns into a blotch, but it probably can switch leaves as
Neurobathra
occasionally does.
