This looks different from the
This looks different from the other ones--is this the same thing as the other Coptodisca on Myrica cerifera? It looked a lot bigger.

 
The larva seemed way too big,
but the oval cut-out is the same size and shape as the others. I'm going to assume it's the same until an adult emerges.

This larva does resemble the gracillariine bayberry miner. It makes a linear mine that turns into a blotch, but it probably can switch leaves as Neurobathra occasionally does.

Do I need to send additional leaves to you, or do you have enough extras with ones from aborted Coptodisca mines?

 
I think it should be able to complete development in this leaf
but if not, I can give it one of the Coptodisca leaves.
