Birch Budgall Mite - Eriophyes betulae

Birch Budgall Mite - Eriophyes betulae
Lower Lincoln, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada
June 25, 2014
Size: 3 cm wide
I'm fairly sure these are the remnant galls of the Birch Budgall Mite, as seen HERE. These images languished in my files for two years until I happened upon some images at Natural Resources Canada. This might be a new page for BG.

Nice shot
Great shot, do you mind if I use this image to help show this species on gallformers.org (https://www.gallformers.org/gall/1534)?
