Coquillettia? Female? - Coquillettia

Coquillettia? Female? - Coquillettia
El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA
September 30, 2016
I found several Coquilletia males and females by sweeping vegetation at Red Sands (15698 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938). Coordinates:31.822564, -106.131559. It is amazing to see these bugs moving; they look just like ants to the naked eyes.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the female that I chose for pictures had her left foreleg badly broken and it fell off by the end of the photo session.
If confirmed, this would be the first BG entry for Texas.
