I see Philtraea paucimacula in the guide also but don't know what the differences are. Thanks for ID help.

Moved to P. elegantaria based
Moved to P. elegantaria based on BG & MPG image comparisons and description/key in the Buckett paper linked to Philatraea page (http://lepidopteraresearchfoundation.org/journals/09/PDF9/09-029.pdf). Heavier black lines appear to separate P. elegantaria from P. paucimacula.

Hopefully, someone more familiar with your fauna will know.

Philtraea
I can't visually tell the difference between them either. However, Philtraea can generally be separated by location. Unfortunately, the ranges of P. elegantaria and P. paucimacula appear to overlap in Arizona.
