I searched both butterfly and moth field guides and couldn't find a match. I'd love to know what it is.

McClain County record
Since this is a new record for McClain County, please send me your first & last name for the OK data base.

Howdy - wow, a record! I was at the Monarch Festival at Lion Park yesterday and photographed it there.

Cindy McIntyre and I live in Lawton, OK.

I posted all the butterflies on my blog: https://cindymcintyre.wordpress.com/2016/10/02/monarch-butterfly-migration/

Moved
Moved from ID Request. I agree with the suggested ID. Please remember to always add county and select "adult" (when applicable). I've done it here for you.
