A number of the older conks I collected on my three trips to Jefferson Notch contained apparent Dorcatoma larvae. These are most of the ones I found. They now reside in a rearing container with small-to-fine particles of conk. As they mature I will photograph them, hoping for some different species for bugguide, and ready them for shipment to Boris in Berlin, Germany. These were some of the many collateral benefits in my Forest Service-approved
search for Py*tho str*ictus.
