Asterocampa clyton? - Asterocampa clyton Salero Ranch, 8 mi E of Tubac, 4300 ft elevation, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA October 3, 2016
I think this is Asterocampa clyton - and maybe the texana subspecies? It's the first one I have seen. Upperside of wings was fairly dull orange. It and two Asterocampa leilia (one of them in this photo) and a few Polistes wasps came in to sap oozing from a mesquite (Prosopis velutina).
