After this caught my eye, I saw there were others like it on the plant. Most, however, were single, circular.

Not technically a leaf mine, but a pair of galls with symbiotic fungus.

Looked it up and it turns out to be something like what I understand happens with Lichens. Different, but similar idea. Neat!
