Iris oratoria
Iris oratoria

Thank you Brian-
could you kindly tell me what the distinguishing feature(s) of this species' ooetheca are; in other words, how were you able to determine that the egg case belongs to Iris oratoria? Thank you once again for your kind feedback!

Ooth ID
The way the seam narrows inwards towards the top at seam makes it clear that it is Iris oratoria. It is hard to explain features that won't match other ootheca, but if you see other ootheca of this species it is clear they match.

Thank you very much
for taking the time to explain Brian- I appreciate the help!
