Black Widow, male? - Latrodectus geometricus

Black Widow, male? - Latrodectus geometricus
Cataula, Harris County, Georgia, USA
September 25, 2016
Took this picture of a very small spider in a shrub, didn't think much about it but noticed the hourglass on it's abdomen underbelly. Being that it was out in the open for the most part, I didn't think it would be in the widow family, but after looking through a few photos, I'm wondering if it could possible have been a male widow?
