Speyeria? - Euptoieta claudia
Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, USA

This low version of Buddleia in Green-Wood Cemetery was still active today with Monarch, Am. Lady, a couple skippers, and this fritillary that I can't match with anything in my Kaufman.

Variegated
Looks like a Variegated Fritillary (E. claudia) to me, although it's lighter than the example in my book (could just be lighting). Pattern is identical.

Thanks!
Embarrassed to say I didn't check that page. They're said to be uncommon here, so a nice spot, first for my local list.
