Size: ~ 11 mm
Extracted from underneath a big rock. Believe it's in Harpalinae, but with a large unusally wide thorax? Confirmation/correction, and further placement would be appreciated.

Discoderus sp. - male.
The southwestern members of this genus are taxonomically challenging. I am accepting specimens of Discoderus and related genus Selenophorus for my current research on species differentiation and geographic distributions.
