Unknown Clubtail - Dromogomphus spinosus
Indianhead Resort, Souix Narrows, Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada
July 28, 2015
Size: 2 inches, possibly larger
This beauty landed for only about 30 seconds in late afternoon on the dock at Indianhead Resort on Lake of the Woods. The dock is in a fairly well protected area. Some reeds, grass and lily pads in the area. I never saw it again. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Male - Black-shouldered Spinyleg
Check the legs for two different-sized spines. This looks like a male Dromogomphus spinosus. (eastern range)
