Dave, all submissions to ID Request are removed to Butterflies and Moths after a reasonable amount of time. As they get moved further and further back in the pages they get less attention. Then they are left in Butterflies and Moths for another time period before moving to Family, or elsewhere. Unless, someone identifies them at least to Genus as I just did.

why was this removed from ID request?
if it was not identified, why is it removed? Is there a time limit? Is it likely to be identified once it has been removed?
