Pachysphinx occidentalis - Male Female
Bethel Island, California, Contra Costa County Delta Region County, California, USA

Size: 3 plus inches
The white tan one arrived first and stayed several days on the side of the building.The darker one came several days later and stayed a few feet above the white one. I then saw them joined. The brown one left the next day the white one two days later. Very pretty, large moth.

Pachysphinx occidentalis, # 7829. P. modesta is not found in California.
